1. Start with things that are easy
2. Go somewhere you’re familiar with
3. Soak in the atmosphere
4. Don’t push yourself too hard (try to have fun!)
5. Once you’re feeling more confident, take it to the next level
6. Don’t feel embarrassed, lots of people do things alone (notice, there are 2 other single diners in the restaurant)
7. Take a book or look at your phone if you feel vulnerable
8. Realise that no one cares you’re alone, only you. No one thinks you’re a loser or weird
9. Take down time or time alone relaxing if you need it
